This song gives me and Robert great memories of a recent trip in Laguna Beach, California. When this is played, we look knowingly at each other and we are instantly reminded of the great time we had there.

Filipino singer Charice made her third (?) appearance on Oprah yesterday. Watching her blossom into the confident, bubbly pop star that she is today makes me so proud.

Justin Bieber was the first guest. I consider myself in touch with pop culture. I've been seeing the trending topics on Twitter. But I never really knew the magnitude of Justin Bieber's popularity until yesterday.
However, I still think Joey McIntyre is way cuter than him.
Justin's mop-style hair does not move! He dances and moves all over the stage and yet his hair stays in place. I wanna know what product he is using.
Charice's new song "Pyramid" sounds so fresh, well-produced and catchy. It's about time she sang an age-appropriate song. While I appreciated the range of her vocals in the Whitneys, Celines and Mariahs -- this youthful pop song was just what she needed.
I started crying seeing music producer David Foster get choked up like a proud daddy. Charice grew up without a father. I was so happy to see a male figure in her life who really believes in her.
I bought her album on iTunes out love and support for her. I am so glad for the exposure she got on Oprah and for being on the starting page of the iTunes Store. I hope this will help her album sales.
To my fellow Filipinos, if you want to listen to her music, please BUY her album. Please don't download and try to cheat your right into listen to something she worked so hard for.

The last time I saw New Kids On The Block was at a concert in Manila on February 14th of 1992.
I was sixteen years old then. I skipped my junior prom and begged my mom to watch it with me.
I think it is so cool that NKOTB decided to reunite this year. They aged really well (they aren't really that old but I have seen popular child stars let the perks of fame get to them in a really horrible way) and came out with a great new album.
Robert got us tickets to the NKOTB concert here in Omaha. The concert was last night. I was so excited the entire day and kept on asking Rob, "Is it NKOTB yet?"
The concert started on time and I LOST it when they came out. Sixteen years later, I could not believe it. They opened with "Single" which I thought is their best song on their new album. My behavior was embarrassing.
I have a couple of more good videos I am having problems uploading to YouTube and Motionbox.
My past experiences with concerts is that I pay a ton of money and I will be lucky if I hear 5 good songs live and end up feeling robbed.
Last night was a different story. They sang A LOT of the old songs (and stayed faithful to the old sound!) and picked to sing the best songs out of their new CD. They put a lot of thought into it and it was just a pleasure to watch.
