Job Opening: Communications Sales Associate

The successful candidate will be in-charge of sales coming from social networking, forums, linkings, webinars and all other Web 2.0 activities. This is a full-time, work-at-office position.

This position manages the strategic direction of the corporate and Web 2.0 communications and has P&L responsibility for this channel.

Compensation Package:
1. competitive salary
2. uncapped commission scheme for direct sales (estimated monthly commissions normally more than monthly salary)
3. overrides for managine teams and revenue shares for indirect sales
4. minimum 1 month bonus for meeting specific team and individual objectives

The Communications Sales Associate will be assigned to the following tasks/objectives:
1. Attain 10,000 new backlinks for the site
2. Generate 5,000 connections, contacts from its business social networking sites
3. Manage the generation and distribution of press releases, articles, book reviews, and white papers
4. Conceptualize, plan and execute expert interviews, podcasts and webinars
5. Manage and produce regular webinars or audio conferences
6. Conceptualize, plan and execute viral campaigns such as online games and quizzes
7. Manage all corporate communications activities
8. Coordinate internally with marketing, creative, call center and technical to execute against all deliverables
9. Monitor, recommend and implement strategies to improve key performance metrics, including click-through rates, conversion rates, average order size and ROI.
10. Conduct weekly review and ROI analysis of the advertising campaigns and track to forecast
11. The work is approximately 10% night shift and 90% day shift.

Required Experience
1. Must be an experienced writer
2. Knowledge in posting in business forums, social networking sites and Web 2.0 is an advantage
3. Any sales or account management experience is an advantage
4. Be a highly motivated self-starter. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be comfortable working independently to achieve a successful result with minimal guidance.
5. Be tech-savvy and have the ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable
i. presenting in front of a group
ii. communicating with the media
iii. communicating with customers
8. Possess proven Excel skills
9. Confidently handle multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines
10. Possess proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
11. Basic HTML programming a plus
