My favorite preacher EVER. When he is in town to speak at a Sunday service, I go out of my way to attend a morning service even if I am scheduled to serve the evening services with my husband that same day. His insights challenge me to become a better follower of Jesus. He is pretty funny too.
He officiated our wedding. On the morning of the wedding, the first thing he asked me was "What can I do to help you?" Gotta love his servant leadership.
Last Friday evening, a group of people prepared a beautiful surprise birthday banquet for him in Every Nation building. Robert and I are honored to be a part of a celebration of a man's life who affected thousands by leading them to Jesus and making disciples out of them.
