Thank You For Praying With Us

Most of you have probably heard about my mother-in-law's emergency brain surgery. If not, you may read Robert's recent blog post.

The most crucial part is over. A brain surgery is one of the riskiest, most complicated procedures out there and we were told that it went well.

Mama Linda will be recovering in the intensive care unit (ICU) for about 2 to 3 weeks. Then she will be moved to a regular room and will most likely be there for another couple of weeks.

Robert and I know that she is surviving and getting better because of so many friends standing with us in prayer. Thank you that you joined us in confidence in approaching God, that if we all asked anything according to His will, he hears us (1 John 5:14).

Please continue to pray for her. We are believing that each new day will be better than the day before. May she regain strength and live a normal life again.

We are also praying and asking God for wisdom. I know that my father-in-law needs assistance. He is not getting any younger. His hip needs replacement soon.

Robert and I would really like to fly there sometime next month, just in time when Mama goes home. My in-laws will need help in cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and other household chores that Mama used to do everyday. Right now, we are in the best position to help.

We waiting on God to give us the right time to go there when our help is needed most. We are also praying that everything we leave behind will be in order. And most of all, we are waiting on His provision so that it may be financially wise for us to get up and go.

Do continue to stand with us in prayer. God does hear them all the time! Thank you to everyone who has called, sent texts, and wrote messages of encouragement. All your acts of love will never be forgotten.
